Meeting at your hotel. Travel by comfortable transport. Guide's story about the history of Georgian winemaking and the places we are going to.
First stop in the village of Badiauri: you will see how traditional Georgian bread shoti is made and try to bake it yourself. If you wish, you can buy churchkhela and nuts.
The second stop is at a modern winery. A tour of the beautiful grounds, tasting of Georgian wines. A fascinating story about the varieties and production of wine from the sommelier.
The third stop is the Bodbe Nunnery, a place of silence and inspiration. The relics of St. Nino, who brought Christianity to the country, rest here. The tranquility and beauty of this place fill the soul with peace. You will be able to touch the monastery’s relics, walk along shady paths and feel the special energy of Bodbe.
Fourth stop: Sighnaghi – the city of love and endless views. The most romantic city of Georgia awaits us just a few kilometers from Bodbe. Narrow streets, bright facades of houses and cozy cafes create an atmosphere of coziness. We will walk along the ancient fortress wall with towers and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley. In the central square you will see the old town hall and feel the spirit of Georgian traditions.
The fifth stop is a winery again, this time more cozy and authentic. Here, the winemaker himself will conduct a tasting of Georgian wines for you. After the tasting, you will have a full home-cooked dinner with stories about Georgian traditions.
